I would like to know from your experience how expensive it is to own a modified car in Singapore. :}

I got mine 2nd hand so I got it rather "cheap"... relatively.

All cars here have a 10 year lifespan which at the end must either be scrapped or have it's lifespan extended another 10 years at a cost of approximately $44k USD? or so. Back in 05/06 when the IXs were new, they cost approximately $90k USD... We have to pay higher road taxes for the Evos too...

I'd like to know what its like to drive an EVO around singapore, can you track it? or go out anywhere nice?

Is there a line of police that have to follow you around in case anything happens?

Most people head up North into Malaysia if they wanna track. Cruising round the city is pretty nice I suppose. As for the traffic popo, they really keep an eye out for Evos, WRXes, Type-Rs and similar cars for illegal mods etc... Installing an exhaust without an official approved certificate will cost you a small fine to your wallet.
