Hey just joined the forum because at the end of the summer i'm trying to put a down payment on an evo 8 or 9 and just wanting to read up some information on them and hopefully have a pretty good idea on what i'm getting into and where i wanna go with it.

I owned a 2005 cobalt ss supercharged that I did some stuff too but recently totaled it, and have really had my eye on the evos. Something about them gets me.

Hopefully will be a proud new owner by September or so.

Haha yeah well black ice on a highway on ramp was the problem. Roads were clear but there was a patch of ice there and i smashed a guard rail.

Also between evo 9's and 10's which would you go with? I can get a X for damn near the price of a IX lol.
