Illinois Evo owners: where did you buy your Evo? I'm in the market and I'm trying to find the best (most friendly and willing to negotiate). Looking for a good place in the Chicagoland area. I've been to Schaumburg Mitsubishi and Biggers Elgin Mitsubishi. I'm trying to shop around for the best deal, so help me out and tell me about your Evo buying experience- good or bad. Thanks!

Max Madsen Countryside in chicago. Some people have had a hard time with their downers grove location, but country side has been very good with me for the past 4 months or so.

If you go to countryside, go directly to oliver. Don't bother with the sales floor staff.

I bought mine at Cub Shaver in Matteson. They are in BFE, but they are straight shooters. I called and I told a salesman that I was buying an Evo tomorrow and I asked if they could beat $30000 (this was last year in April). I got it for $29500 and the salesman picked me up from the Metra stop the next day. I signed my papers and drove home.

Schaumburg played games with me. I asked about premiums and a guy actually said, "Well, how much do you want to pay"?

Pine in Michigan City had a Yellow Evo in their showroom and it had $3500 in extras that were b.s. They also quoted me an interest rate that was 3% higher than I wound up getting. That Evo is probably still in their showroom unless they found a true sucker.

 

If you don't mind the drive, go talk to Bryan(Fireball moderator on evom) or Andy (sales mgr) up in Milwaukee at Renner.

Went to Schaumburg and they told me that the 05's aren't coming out until APRIL?! That's contrary to ALL THE INFO I've read here. Maybe they don't look at this board... EVER.
