okay so about a week ago I was driving my 03 evo 8 and I went through a puddle and then all of the sudden my engine cut out. I tried pop starting it but unfortunately nothing worked. when I tried turning it over It just wouldn't fire. I didn't smell any gas so I figured it was the fuel pump. so I just changed the fuel pump out for a walbro 255 fuel pump and it still doesn't start it will turn over though!!! some one help please.

 

did you have one of those intake which suck from further down below (cold air intake)? if so, its hydrolocked.

 

I do have a cold air intake but it's at the same height as the oem. how would I fix it if it is hydrolocked

 

and I checked the air filter when I did it and it was dry to the touch

 

Ic pipe pop off maybe?
