Hi everyone, thanks for having me here.
I purchased my new car about 2 weeks ago now. A 2001 evo7 gsr. The car has some decent mods and will eventually make good power once it gets a re tune. It's currently on a mild tune for run in of the new 8mr engine and precision 6262 turbo. The advise I wanted was in regards to clutches. I took this thing for a test drive and was sold instantly after hithing boost. It wasn't until on the way home after purchase I realized how hard this particular car is to drive. It has an xtream twin plate ceramic clutch. I bought this car with intentions to daily drive and will definitely not be doing this with the current clutch. I am now saving for a downgrade. I was just wondering what some of you guys are running and how it is ro drive in regards to stop/start and hills etc. as there are such conflicting reviews when looking up different clutches. Sorry for the rant

Hi!
Welcome and thank you for posting. Please post a picture of your car when you have time as the 'pre-Evo 8s are very rare around here. A heavy duty clutch in traffic is perfect for building leg strength
, but as your found out it gets old quickly. Drop into the Evo 1-9 Engine/Turbo/Drivetrain to ask your questions. You will get recommendations from knowledgeable owners. Have fun!
