New to EvoM

Hey all,
I am new to this forum and the Mitsubishi scene. I have just sold my GC8 wrx and brought an 1999 EVO 6. I frigging love this car, it's incredible! I finally see what all the fuss is about and am defiantly converted to EVO's. 😄. About me- I'm from Wollongong. My main focus for my Evo is track work. I currently have a time at Wakefeild- 114.4 in my previous WRX 160kw atw. I am looking forward to smashing that time with my new Evo- 262kw atw, better brakes etc.

Is there any clubs/ track days that are organised in NSW that anyone would recommend?

Eastern Creek has a web site with track days listed, theres also a hill climb club in the gong which you would know about

I logged on for the first time the other night- and this is the first time I have checked back, I'm stoked to see how active this forum is.

I have uploaded photos to my profile I think, but for some reason I can't make it my profile pic. Still learning how to drive this forum. 😄. I'll have a look on my desktop tonight.

Sweet, thanks for the info, I'll check out the Eastern Creek website. As for the Wollongong light car club you mention- I have put an application to join 6 weeks ago and am still waiting on a reply. Is anyone a member and could possibly offer advice?

One Noob question I have is this forum Aus, or Aus + New Zealand, or international?

Don't know to much about that club, seen the youtubes of cars going up the hill lol

This forum is for everyone, but mainly the Americaaaans, who are all good guys and know more about Evo's then any other country IMO
