Just purchased: 2015 wicked white Evo X MR(rust tips)

Hey peeps, I just bought my first Evo and immediately joined these forums. The feeling is surreal, to finally have my very own evo. Haven't taken delivery yet, but I've been scoping these forums for break in advice and think I'm set. Does anyone have tips in regard to rust-proofing the car. The dealership offered the electronic module (which I believe doesn't work) for around $900 CAD. However, they also warranty the whole car in case rust does appear. So if anyone has input, please let me know. I live in Canada, so rust is a real issue for me.

Search and you'll find varying opinions. I support one that says new cars don't need rust proofing anymore. Majority of cars are galvanized unibody so inherently with rust proofing. Best thing to prevent rust is washing your car on a regular basis and wash undercar couple times per year (more in Canada due to frequent snow).

Congrats!
I do feel sorry for Canadian cars. But you got a great car for the winter up there.
