Engine swap-02 lancer

I have an 02 lancer Oz Rally. im not very impressed with the engine in it and i was wondering if there were any DOHC engines i could swap in for cheaper to boost the *****es potential. any ideas would be great. thanx biatches

If you did a search you would quickly find out the answer is generally no. But I hear there are a couple of JDM engines that fit, like the 6a12 and 6a13. If you're looking for an engine you can find easily that will just bolt right up, give up now.

actually the 6a12 and 6a13 aren't JDM, they are from Austrailia

and uh.. DOHC won't improve the performance unless u plan on pushing 600+hp...just to let u know.

and roller is right...no engines bolt in to our car that are in the US, u'd have to get it shipped from Australia and than u can bolt it in, as the 6a12 i think is almost a direct swap according to RPW.
