I was just wondering if anyone's ever done an eclipse GST to lancer engine swap or if any of you have ever heard of it being done.

once you're done reading it all, like i've tried to... you'll probably come to the conclusion i've come to:

no one knows, and those that THINK it may be possible haven't tried.

 

that sucks... i'm not looking forward to turbocharging an engine that doesn't come turbocharged :d

 

ur better off getting a Austrailian VR4 engine...its a v6 and well is powerful.

this question is asked at least 2-3 times a month or so...everyone says it costs to much money...but what do they know.

if u got the gs-t engine lieing around try it man...i hate seeing everyone say "it wont happen" so the person that COULD Of tryed diddn't cuz everyone said 'no'

 

If the lancer engine mounts are in the same location as the EVO's, maybe a 1g GST engine might come close to mounting up.
