Has Anyone Painted their Stock Grill?

I just wanted to know if anyone has painted their stock grill the same color as their car? I dont really like that black and crome look and i was considering painting it a matching silver. I dont know how it would look like yet so im asking you guys before i do anything that i would regret. I like the design of the grill so im not looking to go mesh or buy a new grill or anything... just wanted to know how it would look like if it was painted thats all.

I'll make it easy. I used a metallic black paint on my TG lancer, and while it's not a complete match, it's close. Check the registry.

It's so easy, just spray and then clear coat. For my 02 Lancer I had a white grill and a solid black grill depending on what mood i was in. I asked a guy at a paint shop how much it would be for them to do and he said like 50 buck and then you can get whatever color you wanted.

I have a stock 02 grill for sale by the way if you want to buy one to mess around with. PM for details!!

Good question. Order without the wing, paint the grill to be less noticeable and you have an awsome sleeper.
