New here, first time owner, and needs helps please.

hey guys need help with getting a hood.Recently bought the wife a 2017 Lancer ES (tried to convince her to get let me get her an Evo but she knew I’d take it) and she got into a hood bender; so perfect timing to put on an aftermarket hood I guess. No clue what hoods will fit and it’s the first time owning a Mitsubishi. Seeing a lot saying the Evo X will fit, this true? Don’t wanna go buying a hood online and not have it fit.

congratulations on the purchase and welcome to the forum! Below is the link to all aftermarket hoods for the 2017 Lancer we carry:

When ordering a custom hood, the manufacturers recommend professional installation. Also, you should use hood pins (they will additionally secure the hood, as it is lighter, than the OE one).
