Buying an Evo X. How many Kms is too many?
Hi guys, I'm currently on the lookout to buy my very first Evo and I have been having a look around but keep finding cars which have done over 100kms
I've got my eye on a 2010 which looks like its been taken care of with minimal mods and a fair price, but the thing that has me hesitant is that it has done almost 90,000kms and I'm not too sure if that was too high for my first performance car. I plan on keeping it for a while but I like having the option of reselling in it maybe 8-10 years time if I decide to buy something different.
Should I wait or try and afford something more expensive with lower kms?

90,000kms is still pretty frosty if you ask me. Depends on what you plan for the EvO. If its going to be your daily then the lower mileage EvO would be best.
If it were my weekend project car, i would be hesitant on mileage over 160,000kms
If the car is clean & well maintained, i say go for it!

As Minus stated, 90,000kms is roughly scratching break in. That is considered really low mileage for a 9 year old car. 10,000kms/year is only 6k miles, so that thing has about 54k miles on it. If it is a great condition with all maintenance history available, it would certainly be a great candidate for what you are looking for.
