Well, Im not a moderator, but I have been on hundreds of thousands of billions of forums in my lifetime of 20 years... Due to the nature of this board and the types of people posting here (especially the Moderators) your sig could have something to do with that... For example click my link on my sig. RASR Racers against street racing. Illegal street racing crashes/deaths/damages hurt tax payers and innocent people alike. Alot of people here who used to do it or dont do it anymore or never did it in the first place realized this as well. Like me for example, I lost a friend who was minding his own business on his way home when a honda civic which didnt even have the correct suspension to do any racing slamed into him at 120 mph killing my friend, him, and the dude in the pos he was racing. The dude in the POS died becuase his brakes were so bad that he couldnt stop in time. Now Im just guessing but this could be one reason why people treat you so rudely right off the bat. Your probably a nice guy, but alot of people on the board may not approve of your sig. Hence negative treatment. Just a guess.

sorry to hear about your friend but there are not many places to go and "race" well not close to my house and i can never find out the time and places to the places that do host legal events but people do also die in controlled enviroments so technaclly speaking like your friend most people are caleed by people who probably should not be driven hince the bad brakes if he does not give a @#$* about his own car what makes him car about others
Plus i am pretty sure the majority of people here enjoyed the fast and furious and the2nd one if so then they are in the wrong to

again you live in irvine right? there are atleast 4 drag strips that have open nights within 35 minutes of you.

I live in Lake Forest and have gone to many of these tracks. I think you miss read his story as his friend was a innocent by stander that was killed by street racers. If someone wants to go to the track and they die that is fine, even if they kill another racer, fine, they new it was a possibility by going to race. Now if my wife is killed on the way home from work because some dip **** 16 year old hits her because he is 2 fast and 2 furious then there sure as hell is something wrong with that.

You know, it’s probably a waste to post this, since 2F2F seems to be illiterate, but street racing is most definitely a crime in his state.

You’re making a lot of friends real fast!

Attitude.

Your manner of asking questions is the problem. Every thread you post implies that the world is out to get you. Ask the question, and leave the snide comments aside.

F&F and 2f2f were ok...But a little missplaced imo. Thats koo though, just keep in mind, if you should ever get someone killed during illegal street racing...Whether it be you or a civilian, or if the person your racing looses control and dies. Thats gonna be anywhere from 5-25years in jail, plus if your under 18 your parents will be sued for every cent they are worth, same with you. Depending on whether they try you as an adult or not You will not be able to legally drive again if they decide to strip you of your license for life, you lose your voting rights should you be convicted of a felony count of murder/manslaughter. It all really depends if your under or over 18 and where you live and who died. But thanks to those movies that came out, I would expect a steep sentance to make an example of you.

Last thing I will say on the subject, need to get back to work peace.

Man, that is a week excuse. The last event we had here was evo/wrx/sti meet and there was a ton of people who showed up (lancers, evos, wrxs, stis). We raced all day (at a track), no one got hurt, no arguements, no rivalry. It was just a bunch of car guys having a great day racing and discussing life/cars/girls.

Thats what this board is about. Car people. I'm sure you're not the only person on this board who has lost freinds. Heck, at my age, I've lost more freinds than I care to remember. But that's life. There is no reason to come off with so much anger and accusation when we are all just here to post info about cars.

If you post legitimate questions about legitimate issues you'll get legitimate repsonse s(usually ;-). Just enjoy the board, get over the grudges and pushing matches, ask your question, and enjoy. I personally could care less if you change your sig; but I will however point out that it is incorrect. Thats what this board is all about. See?

-just random thoughts; sorry!
