this might be a dumb question but On my Front bumper cover on my OZ i have orange reflectors.. how do i take them off and if i do will there be a hole in the body or do they come off like badges.. thanks !!

 

there is a thrad in the lancer how to forums that tells you how and you will have hole if you dont replace them. you can buy cf or white reflectors to replace them or just paint them.

 

you pull off the bumper (easiest way for me cause i got big ol monkey hands). there will be 2 holes. you can either buy CF ones from road race or get clear ones elsewhere. or the third option is to get some mesh from homedepot or somewhere and put it in there.

i hear that the cf ones suck and are too small and barly cover the hole. I went with the white ones and damn they look so much better than stock amber.

i'm not sure.. the mesh idea sounds cool.. but so does cf i have thunder grey lancer so i don't know if i want to go with clear ones

 

i have TGrey and the CF ones fit fine. they cover the hole completely and looks great. not a bad mod for just a few bucks.

 

Might be easier to take off the headlight. You would be able to work from above.

 

where can you get cf reflectors for cheap? rrm is $39.00 if its that much i'll go with mesh

 

they are the only ones that make them but it wouldnt be hard to make you own jsut buy a sheet of cf

 

i like using carbon fiber, as long as its not too light. My buddy used carbon fiber for his hood, and it looked nice

 

another question.. how do you remove your front liscence plate? .. good call on making your own with a sheet of cf.. thanks

 

theres 2 screws, just screw them off and tada. theres also 2 rubber things that you can either pull out or leave there.
