How much HP does your lancer have?

I'm just wonderin, because I'm planning on doing some engine work in the future, and I was wondering how much you can get, and what parts to use?

Thanks.

dyno figures for aftermarket pieces are hard to obtain if not impossible. The buschur system had a net result of like 10% hp with intake/exhaust/headers, I think that's probably a little on the low side. The OZ that RMR was racing had similar mods and was up to around 160hp I believe. But they had also done camshaft work as well as the t.b. and some other stuff I believe. But don't be amazed when you spend 1500 bucks on aftermarket and it still feels slow.

The other stuff is hard to figure out but I think timing advances (who cares about lumpy idle in a rally car), port and polish on one or both sides, TB port matching, custom exhaust manifold and some other sundry tidbits. RMR is very vague about all that they had done.

I'll make this simpler, from Lan^H^H^H pjal's sig:

http://www.lancerusdmparts.cjb.net/

That there's the entire parts database. Take your pick. Read. Learn. There's a ****load of information on these boards, you just need to use that handy search tool up there.

http://www.lancerforums.com/forums/t1346.html

This is how we deal with n00bs.

Now please...Search. Read. Then post.

(ooops, I was tired...sorry dude!)

Different turbos have different effects. A good turbo can make you gain soemwhere around 60-100 Hp. (depends on how you installed it and modded some stuff)
A stock Lancer Oz Rally is: 120 Hp. So your looking somewhere around 200Hp. Most people also get Headers (some say that adds 15-20 hp) Cold air intake ( can add 15-20 hp)

and some other mods.

So a well tuned Lancer Oz Rally maybe could get around 240hp. somewhere around that maker. Give or take a few Hp

A good turbo won't...if you maintain your car properly.
