I heavily endorse the method that requires the most work on your part: getting a custom. I say most work because you HAVE to run down people who have gone to the shop you end up choosing.

I mean, I have a mandrel bet, 2 1/4 APEX'i Universal catback that cost me a 200 bucks, installed. The guys I got it from (while obviously the parts might have fallen off a truck) were the absolute best. Deep, loud sound. Sets off car alarms on a regular basis.

 

Why doesn't anyone ever use the parts index? So handy...even tells you which are real catbacks and which are just exhaust sections and *gasp* prices.
