just put the turbo in the engine bay, run some speaker wire to it and your set.

I know that our engine in the 02 Lancer is the 4G93, but the turbo eclipse was the 4G63. Can't tell you for sure if it would work, but maybe that piece of info can help.

the engine code has nothing to do with turbo. buy urself a turbo charger, get pipes done custom, intercooler, fuel system/pump, and air/fuel controller and ur set for 6-9 psi. if u wanna go higher than that ur gonna need internals.

look around the aftermarket turbo tech section, there should be all ur answers in there.

also the SEARCH button is a GREAT TOOL for NOOBS

p.s. it's the 4g94, the 4g93 is a 1.8L engine. You can make a sp60 fit to it, any turbo application will require a custom manifold. that is the essential. You don't need an intercooler to run around 6psi, but it doesn't hurt.

Hook up

run some speaker wire to it and your set
That is one of the funniest lines I've read in a long time.

But seriously, if you want to put a T-25 on your Lancer, make sure your getting a a good turbo. How many miles were on your friend's engine? Does the impeller spin freely? There should be no play in the shaft. Most of the money should be spent on the kit surrounding the turbo, like Pimpson said, the manifold and piping is far more important, as well as the oil lines and fittings. You may need to get a fuel computer like Apex'i's Super AFC to get it to run right. All that stuff will make your "free" turbo seem like not such a bargain. Just make sure you don't invest in all that, just to slap on a tired snail that doesn't have full potential.

If it is turbo from a 95-99 Eclipse it will work with our turbo kit. Ours is designed around the T-25 or T-28 turbo. Call us for info.

Also, a Turbo Timer to preserve its life in the long run.

A T-25 is a fast spooling turbo . . . not much on the top end, unless hitting a lot of psi.

So honestly how much would a nice turbo cost for a 2002 lancer and how much hp would you gain?

I have just turbo'd my engine, i made a custom exhasut manifold and a custom inlet plenum, coupla pipes, and runnin a pod filter.. although my car will be significantly different to yours, as i am running a carby, but im sure there are plenty of american places that can get you the gear.. if not, www.rpw.com.au, a WA owned company exporting to america, can help.
