Fq 400
Fq 400
So i just wanted to say I WANT AN FQ400
I mean it seems like the most over the top driving car in the world! I love it!
the idea of a 4 door sedan beating lambos is crazy to me i cant stop watching the video from Top Gear where they put an FQ400 head to head with a LAMBO
The Question i had was do u think the FQ is 400WHP or just 400 at the crank?
Anyone know if there are any FQs in the states?

Unless you imported one from britain no. Not even japan has them. They are soley the product of british engineers.

You can make 400hp at the crank on the stock turbo without sacrificing spool up, while saving a helluva lot of money. A IX with TBE, o2 housing, intake, cams, and tune will make more than 400hp at the crank with the stock turbo and be a better street car than a FQ400.

Brake HP is at the flywheel, the term was coined because old engine dyno's used a water brake.
losses with AWD drivetrain are estimated to be from 18-25%
Formula to figure how much whp is require to equal FQ400 would be
405/1.18 = 343whp figuring 18% loss, if you figure in a 25% loss it would be only 324whp. Ok so you might not even need cams, just a good tune. This of course assumes that the FQ400 is not "under rated".
