Question Removing glue

I have a carbon fiber dash kit that was put on by the dealership and I want to remove it all but glue residue is left behind. I've been to automotive stores and hobby shops but cannot find a chemical that doesn't damage plastic. Any help would be appreciated!

try a spray called "goof off" or "goo gone"

read the directions because i think its only unsafe on clear plastics, but im not sure

I haven't used Goo-gone on my car yet because I have previously used it on plastic and it ruins the surface.

Most stuff that you can get just for removing glue will eat your plastic. I have been in plastics for a long time and before that I painted cars and bikes for a living. Two things that will work and not harm paint or plastic is WD-40 and denatured alcohol (alcohol solvent).
