If you're looking for like a side by side comparison, I'm 99% percent sure there has never been one. The best thing to do is simply look up reviews by other members. I don't know if Pat still has this link up but here's a clip of the RMR intake: www.topcitykrew.net/rmrintake.swf
most people in here favor RRM. ROCK, one of the members here, works for RRM and does a great job.
Rhys millen is mitsu's driver in the SCCA pro rally. many members think he blows. i'm not entirely sure, but i think the RMR products are still covered in warranty. dunno. some lancer owner can undoubtfully clear that up for you. if warranty is important, then you might need to go RMR's way.

Per is right about stuff. Roadrace supports us every way possible a company can. Obviously with products, but also technical assistance. They work on Lancers and install turbos. Rock(Robert Tallini) also races cars and has won road racing and rally championships. Gabriel is another contact at RRM. He is always helpful and has helped me do installs myself. They really are great!
RMR sells parts to dealers to sell to us. They are not really visible nor do they seem accessible to us, the customer, when it comes to service. They do not do installs or work on customer's cars. Some dealers do not consider their stuff covered by warranty unless they originally raped you, I mean sold it to you.

We all love RRM and RMR has gotten mixed reviews.
Were's Blair to stand up for those guys?
Just a note. RRM intake has velocity stack style adapter. That is key performance difference of our intake as compared to others. It forces air to contract and become denser. That is where we get h.p. that some others don't. Pimpson your still our Colorado Pimp!

I think that RoadRace's velocity stack is part of the MAS adapter? Seems most likely that way. To use it you'd probably have to just buy the adapter and swap out the RMR adapter/shield.
