To make a long story short. I've purchased a TSX over the Evo a month ago. As soon as I took the car out of the lot there was problem with the car drifting to the left. I bought it back to service four time and complained to Acura. They could not fix the problem and will give my money back due to the fact that i've been a loyal customer for a long time. I know they did the right thing without me going through the whole lawyer and lemon route. So I'm planning to join the Evo craze becuase i need a all year round car and pure sport. I might be old but still have the sport in me then luxury.

So, can anyone advise me dealer in the northen N.J. area and hook me up with a no b.s. sales guy? or is there anyone here? What kind a deal should i get for a 2004? or should i wait for a 05? I know i should do a search, but i don't know where to start.

Ramsey Mitsu, should be good. i know they had an RS there for MSRP.

 

No reason to wait unless you want the Evo MR. The MR is the top of the line model. I almost wish I would have waited so I could get the leather seats.

 

i thought leather was only available on the '04/'05 GSR in the Sun & Sound package. the MR doesnt get that option.

 

The '05's will bring in ACD, a front limited-slip differential, revised wastegate and turbine nozzle (+5HP, +13 lb-ft), as well as some other small changes.

Go for the MR if it's your cup of tea (and if you can still get one), though the GSR and RS will receive the same changes. If you can get a good deal on the '04, might be something to consider. If not, and you can hold out, the '05s will be hitting dealers lots in late September.

 

I was thinking of getting the 04 with leather option. If i get a good deal then i'll settle with the 04, if the deal is not too far from the 05 MR then of course i'll wait and get the MR for sticker. Right now Ramsy is like bsing me with $800 of the Msrp. Which i think it bull due to the fact that I heard ppl getting way less and the 05 is right around the corner. So if anyone can point me to the right direction to a dealership with a sales person of a good deal. I would really appreciated.

 

o5 in sept? o4 just dropped, mitsu didnt do the whole year name before the actually year on the evo, so why is o5 droppin so early?

 

the '03s ran for a full year (but they went into '04), so they decided to release the RS as an '04 (limited production) and make the GSR w/ Leather for '04 (also somewhat limited by time), but everyone else is gonna have '05s so there catching up by releasing the MR as an '05 in september w/ a GSR and RS model.
