Like everyone already said....Put it back on.

The reason is, most of the air fuel ratios are calculated off of the MAF readings. If its disconnected, a dumby map is used, and performance will be diminished.

The MAF is the only sensor that tells the computer how much air is being pulled into the engine. The computer must gather this information to know how much fuel to inject into the chamber. Without this information, it goes into "limp home mode" and will continue to run worse until it eventually stops running.
If you like the looks of it gone, go buy an AEM EMS and you can leave it off.

i was hopin to get an MAF off an eclipse or evo from autozone but they don't have it 'available' yet...anyone know where i can get one? rhyzin swapped his out and he told me one time but i forgot, haha.

he had a nice dyno with just a swapped maf and upgraded fuel system, he had very few actual bolton mods and made a lot of hp compared to others
