Evo Trade in?

I am considering trading in my 2003 Evo with 23K miles for a 2003 a M3. Has anybody recently traded in their Evo? Can you share the price you got for the car?

Thanks,

I think insurance will be about the same if not less. at this time I pay 1100 per year for the evo.

Carmax quoted me $23000 on my 03 with 3500 miles just 2 weeks ago. Yours might be $20-21K if its spotless (just guessing).

I am getting $23,000 at KBB. Where do dealers look up their info on pricing?

KBB means crap for the dealer. You are better off saling it yourself. I'm very close to thought of saling mines too. The resale value of this car is dropping like flies. I feel sorry for the those who had to pay mark-ups.

No wonder resale is falling when everyone is selling their car
I mean, you people are helping it each and every day by trading yours in

Yeah and they are cheap too. Make me wish I had waited. Try the for sale forum. A 10 year old Toyota Supra TT cost more

I think the market for used cars has been very soft for the past several months. Six months ago, when we purchased my wife’s new minivan I told myself I would sell the 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee on my own. The car has been sitting on my driveway since.

Yeah, that's why I prefer trading in myself, either no time or just get sick of even thinking about people that would want to test drive it, find any imperfection in it and try to bring down the price etc etc. I traded my last 2 Hondas in and it took me 15 minutes to do it, dealer did the rest. To me it's worth that extra $1500 I would get selling it myself (or not selling it?).
$23k kind of seems a bit too low though

I agree that 23K is low but from what I've seen here in regards to pricing on the use EVO if you get 23K it was your lucky day. Don't sale though
