Wink Appeasing the wife

Question: If your wife thought the Evo was too fast, would you tell her that you would buy an Electronic Boost Controller in order to turn DOWN (!) the boost for when she rides in the car in order for her to agree that you can buy it?

I actually did that I told her I can turn it down while I'm just driving around ("down" to 21 ) and then up at the track. The operative word was that I "CAN" turn it down... not that I do. Yeah, it's pathetic being married to a safety freak, but oh well...

SterlingEVo,

Did you really add the boost controller? I've read that you can theoretically use a boost controller to turn down the boost like when you go on really long drives to keep the temp. of the turbo down.

i would tell her that...if i thought she'd fall for it.

fortunately, my wife wants me to have what i want, so she didn't complain (too much )

I would ask her what she wants you too do.. take it in to consideration... then just dismiss it... Keep the car... If it was me I would want you to make it faster
