hey everyone.... im just curious..... if you hook up an Oz Lancer with the best mods there is.... what would be the possible maximum hp it will get??? like from a stock 120 to ????? and if so... can you give me some advices on these???


best spark plugs
best headers
best exhaust system
best plug wires
best cold air intake


and what other mods should i put to increase hp besides these???? thanks ya'll hope i can count on you guys...

In other words...not terribly much.

 

Lancer Oz rally can get 500 hp, ES can get 150

pimpson has a good point. even though the engines are exactly the same the oz rally stickers have to add any where from 300 to 400 whp.

 

haha... nice one pimpson... but for real, is it possible to get my hp up to 180??? if so, what mods do i have to put on my OZ to get it to 180 or 160?

Some high zoot NA mods or a turbo...waaaaaay past bolt ons. Hobie is also way right. It's been covered inside, outside, and upside down.

 

with my mods i get 36 hp TO THE WHEELS! maybe if you put in the work and money you can get close it kicks *** cept i need help pushin it uphill

How did you manage to LOSE torque? The Lancer has ample amounts of torque for a car of its displacement and class.

 

with cai,headers,cat-back exhaust,bore out tb,pulleys,cam-gears,camshaft,valesprings,high-compersion piston,port and polishyou can get 38 to 46 whp maybe even more.

but if your really want power get some honda stickers give you 34 whp ,and the tornado thing from tv gives you 23 whp. just like this guy in this pic by putting a civic sir sticker he got 234 whp.thats just plan ricey.

 

the mods you list are never going to give you big HP gains. those mods can help you make more HP, esp when you are forced induction but with a stock engine you aren't going to get huge gains. because the stock engine in the US Lancer is relitively small and relitively low compression your best bet is probably saving your pennies and installing a turbo when you can.

I doubt you can get the gains you want remaining naturally asperated without doing some serious engine building.

 

i seen mirages,sohc neons,civic. with this same mods hitting those number's and those are 1.8,1.6,2.0 liter engines.like in a integra just by outting high compersion piston with intake exaust and header's iwant 108whp with cai,exhaust,andheaders to 126.3whp with the pistons.thats 1.8 liter engine the lancer has a 2.0 liter enginewith a high compersion ratio and lancer comes stock with 108 whp.
