As I say with just about any mod...I'll believe it when I see the dyno printout.

And yes. Big output requires big spending as with most small displacement cars.

 

look at these dyno sheet from a sohc dodge neon it has the sam stock hp as the lancer .look how simple bolt ons imporve the performance.and i got the lastest issue and it has this neon with a new cam shaft and vale springs it took the horse power from 126 to 138 whp with the vale springs and new camshaft.hance this proves with bolt on mods you can get serious hp gains and then add 50 shot's juice and you will be doing high to low to mid 14's.

 

16 whp gains with simple mods we will get more power and toruqe compare to this engie with intake and exhaust we have the same torque as they do with all those mods

 

Maybe maybe maybe. I hope you also mean singular cam gear. valve springs won't give you HP but are more of a support mod to a higher duration lift cam. Pistons would be expensive to manufacture and put it, plus at the very least I'd get the rods shot peened since they're very long and very frail. Ack, forgot, I remember that Neon to, and it had an ECU upgrade so it's going to be able to more effectively handle the mods made to it and eek out that little bit of extra power.

 

I don't think there's a doubt that aftermarket parts provide gains. My point is if someone's claiming a certain amount of HP or whatever gains from whatever parts I say...show me.
