My RS still grabs like a champ at 7k miles ( a little over 3 months). Stock drivetrain and I don't launch my car or ride the pedal.

Mine's fine at a little more than 3k. But the other guy in the area with an RS (and about 5K) says his startred slipping at 3K. The difference is he has modified the car for significantly more power and probably launches much harder.

I have never had to replace a clutch in any car i have owned. So I guess I am pretty gentle.

04 RS clutch

I have about 2500 miles on mine and it's not a problem. I do wish it had a little more grip to it. I find it a little hard to get going quickly.

Any suggestions.
