how loud and how much hp?

i'm supposed to get a cat delete and muffler delete pipe for 140 for both and I wanted to know how much louder they are installed because I dont want my car to be ridiculously loud and also I was told the muffler and cat restrict a lot of air flow so how much power gain do you think I will get by installing these?

Not that loud. Mine is a straight pipe to O2 sensor and it sounds serene... Although i have the magnaflow muffler on it...

cheap piece of crap... Cheap is the key word.

ya i was just told tho that the muffler restricts a lot of air flow so that if i replace that with the muffler delete it will not be as restricted..i'm assuming i would go with the 2.5 that fits right onto the stock pipes for the muffler delete and the cat delete (test pipe) would be the same? i dont want it to be too loud tho..so maybe i won't go with it quite yet.. i just dont have the money to afford the turboback yet so keep posting to let me know what you think..remember i'm just deleting the cat and the muffler..thanks for the feedback so far!

I have a 2.5" Turboback with High-Flow cat, and it sounds great!
However, above 90 mph on the highway (4000rpms + in 5th gear) it gets annoying. On long trips, anything above 90mph for a extended period of time starts to get very annoying - especially 100+

Therefore, I would think your idea would be LOUD AS HELL. It's also illegal.

Oh, maybe 20hp gain.

I ran my car like that and it was not that loud. It was not "get a ticket" loud and didn't drone at high speeds. It actually sounded kinda nice. The resonators in the stock pipe keep it quiet.

Maybe 10HP on the top end, that's it realisticly. Good luck!
