Intercooler Sprayer
I'm guessing that this part isn't the most important part on the car since I've heard mitsu is dropping it for future EVO's, but I have a question about it anyway. I don't think I've ever heard my intercooler sprayer come on by itself when I'm driving, be it a hot day or otherwise. It turns on when I push the manual button, but it never goes off on its own. Maybe this is a testament to the efficiency of the stock FMIC, or maybe mine is broken somehow. So anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this or what the deal is.
The spray never comes on by itself. You either put it on Auto or Manual. In auto mode, it comes on by itself, and in manual mode, you control when it comes on. It only comes on when you push down on it. When you let up, it stops.
i am still trying to figure out what would trigger it to go off in automatic mode. does it refer to temp, or is it just on a timer. i never hear mine go off when it is in auto mode either. i just leave it off. it really doesnt have a use.
I'm not sure what makes it go off either. I'm not implying on this post that it should be going off, I'm just not sure what it should do. So I guess I was wondering what everyone else's does.
