I got a question. I have subs in my car sometimes. How much air pressure can this trunk handle.

handled my subs ok when i still had them, i suppose. no lift, no cracking or paint flaking, no distortion of any kind that i could notice. got rid of the system only because i decided i needed to shed as much weight as possible for the track season, lol.

my setup was: 2x 10" infinity kappa 104.7's (rated at 350 watts rms/1400 watts peak per speaker) each running off of its own channel on a 2 channel profile ap2000 amp (rated at 480 watts rms/1000 watts peak @ a 2ohm load per channel)

Haha I'm confident you'll be extremely satisfied with the end result when these finally land, and even more so when you get it in your hands!

I also want to thank you guys for all the support you've given us throughout the course of this project -- whether it be something as simple as posting a comment in a related thread, to posting pictures of the trunks once you install them -- it puts a big smile on all of our faces here in the office knowing that you guys are enjoying the product as much as we envisioned.

Hey, did anyone ever weigh their FRP trunk? How does it compare to stock since I know stock is 37 pounds, I couldn't afford Cf but I'd still like any weight savings I can get since my car weighs
This is with me in it with a gutted out trunk and light weight battery.

i got the frp version and forgot to get on a scale, dammit, but i can tell you it was a whole lot lighter than the stock trunk on my ralliart, which should be the same as yours if you dont include the weight of the wing. i literally could pick up and hold the weight of the do-luck trunk with 1 finger without any straining. i cant imagine it is possible that it weighs much more than the cf version.

so i got it painted. it wasn't blended so it isn't a perfect match (neither are other panels on the car from the factory! lol). it looks really good in the sun, over all they did a great job! i dunno if i can say the shop on this forum, but they specialize in bmw mostly and their shop is prety cool (plainfield). am i the first painted ob do luck? hehe...
