ETS Value Kit - Wideband sensor bung location?

Hi,

I just got the ETS super value kit and want to know where to mount the AEM wideband sensor bung. It is kind of hard to figure out, without actually installing it, how the DP will be positioned. I prefer to have the sensor facing down as much as possible.

I am surprised that you guys don't already have a pre-welded wideband bung.

you will have to drill/weld a bung into your downpipe, we stick em about 2-3 inches from the flange at the rear of the downpipe

That's a little too far back. Best position is usually 15-20 inches away from the turbo. I'm just concerned that I don't mount too high so the sensor will hit the underside of the body.

why not mount it all up then postion the sensor once the downpipe is on the car and then pull it off to install. Sounds perfect. i would rather take the time to do that then screw it up because your guessing....

ETS will weld one on for like $25 extra bucks. all you had to do was ask. had it done when i had my ets kit. they mounted it upward close to the end of the downpipe. so it sticks up near the driveshaft. you don't want it pointing down toward the road or it might hit something and break off.

I will get the option added to the site, we do weld them by request! As well as meth bungs and AIT bungs on the upper pipes.

Thanks!

Michael
