don't know where you got that post from, by BY LAW, all deposits are refundable unless you sign a letter stating otherwise.

Did you talk to MMNA about the issue with the deposit? They'll get it back for you.

Before you going subpoenaing the dealership and getting a lawyer involved. You would want to talk to MMNA Customer Service in general. Tell them whats going on, and how your dissatisfied and how it is unfair that they should get your money for nothing.

The contract that the dealer made you sign probably said that the deposit was non-refundable. But theirs ways around this.

I work with a guy that had a deposit on a new Maxima at one Nissan dealership, after finding a better deal he bought it at another dealership, he went back to the first dealership trying to get his deposit back but they exclaimed that the contract he signed said the deposit he put down was non-refundable. He gave Nissan of North America's customer service a call, more or less a few weeks later got his deposit back in full.

You would only want to use the law as a last resort, its a headache.

Oh, the customer relations line is 1-888-MITSU2004
