I think mine rattles also, I was really trying to listen - mine seems like its from the top drivers side - not exactly a rattle though - more like a creek.

 

yes creaking.....mine is very notice-able, front and back

 

I think it has something to do with the aluminum roof - It may have a flexing issue or something like that.

Has anyone with a 05 "RS" noticed this "creaking" or is this only an "MR" issue.

 

No rattles/windshield noise on my MR so far. Just passed 600 miles.

 

Okay so my trip to the dealership to have the windshield seal checked out was a total waste of my time. I got up there at 1pm as per my scheduled appointment and the guy at the service desk said he'd have to call the glass company and see if they had time to come by and take a look at it... WTF? What was the point in me scheduling an appointment just so you could tell me you'd call them and SEE if they had time today. I made the bishes wash my car and then left. Sorry I coldn't be of more assistance, I'm going to hope with miles it goes away :/

Hey guys, fellow evo mr owner here. I bought mine 4 days ago and started hearing that creek right around 600 miles. Altough it is a pain in the *** but I try not to pay it too much attention.

 

it just seems really unreasonable for a brand new car.

 

Thats my point.............Im wondering if reg 05's are having this problem....maybe they used the same seals on the MR as the reg 05 (good probability) and those seals dont like sitting against the alluminium roof?

 

now my back glass is making some sound too.

 

Front and back did it day 1 for me.....wonder if it is those seals dont like sitting against the alluminium roof like I mentioned above.

 

Try clean it often, wash the wheel and tire and it will go away, it only make sounds when it is dirty.

The windshield noise not on GSR.. maybe it is really the MR roof...
