It's lost power on a stock RS (proves that's it's working - flow is much less restricted) b/c the main exhaust restriction is removed - the cat converter. Adjust the boost with a MBC and you'll pick up some good power and tq. (15-25 to the wheels with full turbo back exhaust). Did they give the boost reading for their pulls with the DP v/s stock boost levels? I'd bet a nickle that the peak boost was never as high as it was on the stock baseline run...

Ok, this is not a joke anymore, I ordered a full turboback from TurboXs for my MR and the authorized dealer that ordered the turbo-back for me called me back saying that the TurboXs Down-pipe will not fit on the MR.

Please, if someone has a EVO MR and successfully installed a Down-pipe please let me know, apparently there is not many Down-pipes that will fit the MR due to the transfer case design. I just need a down-pipe for my car, at this point I don't really care what brand as long as it fits corectly.

I need you help!! Thanks

Might want to look at the JDM products which have had the MR out for a longer period time.

Call them or go to the vendor forums and post a thread. They have an MR, ask them what DP they use (70mm or 75mm).

WRX2EVO,

As I mentioned before, the RS*R 80mm will fit. The WORKS brand will also fit.

The WORKS Exhale Downpipes (70mm and 76mm) were both engineered to fit the EVO VII and VIII. Because of this, they fit the MR without issue. The WORKS MR has had our turbo-back exhaust on it almost since its arrival

I called HKS today and asked if there Downpipe would fit the MR. They stated they weren't sure since they have done no testing on the car as of yet.

The RS*R pipe has an integrated cat-delete. It goes from the O2 housing straight back to where the catback begins.

I talked to Perrin this morning and they told me the same thing, they haven't test a down-pipe for the MR yet, however they did installed a Down-pipe for the RS though.

Vividracing is offering me to bring my car down there for testing, they will install ALL the downpipes that they carry in order to clear this great doubt of Down-pipes that will clear the MR. They offered me a disccount if I can take my car there and have them test it.

Perrin told me that within the next 2 months they will release a new Down-pipe that will fit the MR. Turbo-XS promised me full refund if it does not fit.

What I need is actual inputs from people that already have them on the MR installed.

Thanks again!!
