Well, the shop which I am ordering the down-pipe from called Helix to find out if it would fit and the shop onwer told me that Helix company told him that it wouldn't fit the MR.

At this point is not a matter of money, I have a budget of around $300-$350 to spend, I just want throuble free, I want something that is going to work 100%.

So far I have credibility for Works and HKS but I have my reservations to get the works Down-pipe. I am still trying to figure why the Works Down-pipes are in the higher price range, so far I found 5 different EVO VIII Downpipes for less than $180 in fact 3 of them for less than $170 on this forum.

As I said before , I have my reservations about RS-R Down-pipe, I have a Dyno test in which they installed a RS-R down-pipe into a EVO and lost 5.2whp, then they put a RSR cat back and gained 6.8WHP moreover they installed a XSengineering FMIC and gained 2whp.

How big is the HKS Downpipe by the way?

The WORKS downpipe costs a little more since theirs has a ceramic coating. Their uncoated version costs around the same as an HKS downpipe.

The HKS downpipe is 65mm. The WORKS is 70mm and 76mm.

Well guys, the search is over and the Works has my respects. I received mine today and WOW!! what a piece of art you guys(Works) made.

If you read my original post and also my responses you can see that I was not very convinced about getting this WORKS downpipe because the price was a bit higher.

Now that I look at it from a different point, I have seen a Burschur Downpipe, a RSR Downpipe and a Helix Downpipe but none of them comes close in quality to the Works.

Anyway, I like it so much that I told my friend that also had a MR and we both got the 76mm(he ordered his today).

Great job Jamie, definately you made what my MR needed . After reading somewhere in this forum that you guys made up to 21 test Downpipes just to ensure fittment or MR Downpipe I was impressed.

Thanks again!
