I will try to get some posted as soon as I take some. The car is already at the shop but they wont start fixing for another week or two.

One side of me feels sorry about the accident, but the other side feels happy for you as giving up the gto is the right choice. If you have traded it in earlier, you'd be financially a little better off. Glad you're ok.

Well it turns out the GTO is not totalled...damn!!!!!!!! 13K in damage is the estimate so far so it is very unlikely that it will be totalled. If it had 3K more in damage it would have been totalled according to the insurance company. I guess I will wait for the IX to come out and take a beating on the trade in next year. In the meantime I plan on ordering a Turbo kit for the GTO just to give her some life. I believe STS has a kit so if you evo owners see a blue gto in the Union, NJ area sporting a turbo take it easy on me because deep down inside I'd rather be driving an EVO.

I wrecked a truck once into a tree. After the wreck I knew the frame was f*cked. I then backed up, accelerated to 50 mph and hit the tree again. This time I was sure it was totalled. God bless insurance and gap coverage.

I actually have now decided to trade in the GTO for an SUV for the wife and I will take her car(suzuki forenza) and trade that in for another car later in the summer. I will be keeping the 89 911 speedster.
