Actually not true. The Mitsubishi companies used to be a single large zaibatsu (family owned megacorp) back before WWII, but after WWII they were broken up into a keiretsu (group of companies with no formal relationship but maintain ties). Each company in the keiretsu are independent with no legal or business relationship, but honor and legacy count for a lot in Japan so they operate as sort of a commonwealth, where they try to help each other out if they can. Mitsubishi Motors is in such bad shape that it's actually straining the relationship it has with the other Mitsubishi companies.

List of Mitsubishi companies (keiretsu):
Asahi Glass Co., Ltd.
The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. (part of Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group)
Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd.
Meiji Life Insurance Co.
Mitsubishi Aluminum Co., Ltd.
Mitsubishi Cable Industries, Ltd.
Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation
Mitsubishi Corporation (Trading company)
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corp.
Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha, Ltd.
Mitsubishi Logistics Corp.
Mitsubishi Materials Corp.
Mitsubishi Motors Corp. (Automobile manufacturing and sales)
Mitsubishi Paper Mills, Ltd.
Mitsubishi Plastics, Inc.
Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd.
Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc.
Mitsubishi Shindoh Co., Ltd.
Mitsubishi Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd.
The Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation (part of Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group)
Nikon Corporation
Nippon Oil Corporation
Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha
P.S. Mitsubishi Construction Co., Ltd.
Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd.

It WILL be at 300PS i think they're going to compete with the STi since there is no RALLIART version coming out. Or since its going to be a 4G63 MIVEC they decided to up the power.

Dayyyym - great minds think alike

I cannot bear to part with this car - I might strip it down and do a cage when I get the Evo, but I'm sure I'll regret it if I let the SR20 go.

There's absolutely no way I'm getting rid of my turbo SR20. I just want to take it off the street to really mess with it and get it going hardcore and not having to worry about driving it around every day. That will allow me to upgrade my manifold and turbo and do a custom interior and all that other stuff.
