I just got done talking to my dad who owns a mitsu store and he told me that the evo ix should be here sometime in august.

 

hell yeah. can't wait for the ix man. it looks awesome

 

august? that means october 14. they probably roll off the assembly line in august., then gotta ship, clear customs, get distributed etc, so that means probably oct.

 

yeah thats what happen with my mr so ur probaly right with mid october

It won't be here in August. My source is a Regional rep from mitsubishi. That being said I will not disclose the release date or the exact specs on the car.

 

To negate this comment the rep responsible for the northeast area is terry last name starts with a J. He was the rep who let mitsubishi use his wingless white evo at the wake-up and drive event in the redskin's stadium parking lot.

 

The detroit press conference for the new eclipse and raider said it'd be unveiled in march at the NY auto show. I imagine the U.S. specs will become available then.

 

its about time! but actually it seems too late for the lan-evoVIII to evolve to IX. it used to be almost an annual thing for mitsubishi to release a bit better evolution series WHEN they are still dominating WRC and not having problems with the company's financials.

that is really funny, because my whole family works for mitsu, and we havent heard of the new 9's coming out that early. the only word out there from high up is about the truck and new ecilpse. but hey i could be wrong.

 

mitsu motors isnt the one hurting mitsu fuso (the truck company for those who dont know) has caused most of their finacials. and have problems isnt that big of a deal, mitsu corp. is fairly large, about 30+ companies, including the second largest bank in tokyo.

 

If HP will be up from 276 to 300 I will own one....otherwise they can shove it....price is gonna be insane.
