That is absolutely positively the coolest electric car I have ever seen! AWD and no gas. Linear torque curve. Four door and seats 5. Now if it just had solar panels on the roof, hood, and trunk it would be even cooler! I will buy one if they price it realistically....

I wonder if you could add the electric motors and batteries to an existing EVO? I know it would add a few hundred pounds but having an extra 400 ft lbs of torque would be nice!

With the price of gas getting so high

Is it time for Mitsubishi to put this car into production or what?

I think the handling would be insane! Imagine, all the engine weight right AT the tires... center of gravity would be inches above the pavement! Since there would be no need for an engine under the hood, body roll would be virtually diminished... who knows? haha I think it's sweet though.. the concept in all... would I give up my car for it? Hells no! But just plugging in my Evo instead of paying top prices just to fill her up... well now that sounds enticing

well it makes sense that thers a conflict of ppl who like it and ppl who dont.
reason being its not going to be as fast as the current evo, so track heads wont dig it
but for ppl like me, who next to NEVER max out my top speed, i wud kill to hav that MIEV rite now
as long as it dont look hideously like the way other hybrids look *COUGH insight COUGH* then im going to be more in love with this car than my evo now
sure it'll take some getting used to, but think of all the money u save on gas that u can now use to upgrade your car ...................
that is, if your going to be ABLE to still modify it?

It would be cool if you were stopped, you could switch into skid-steer mode
(like a bobcat or other small tractor). Then you could park in a tiny spot.
