Evo 9 Ex Manifold...coated???

As in the pic from(zero lift kit thread) one of the threads, it looks like it has the same coating as the intake manifold....no rust ..... That would be very nice.

VII, VIII, and IX valves cover are the same except for the lettering.

That is stupid .. why change a whole manifold just not to have any rust .. won't make any difference, who is going to look in there anyway?

The manifolds aren't coated. Even Evo 8 manifolds looked like that right off of the assembly line!

Drive the car around for a month without the heatshield on and see if it still looks like that with water getting all over it!

It's not cosmetic only. It reduces engine bay temperatures as well. Why do you think many 8 owners get their manifolds coated?
