I think sales will actually do better trying to get away from boy racer only. I know I know, its evil to think, but a lot of people especially in metropolitain areas hate the manual.

Commenting on the DSG. Lambo uses audi/VW DSG and the highest one that uses it is the LP640? Correct me if im wrong.

I had a CVT unit in a Nissan Murano. I am mixed - I would not want it for a performance application. In a utility oriented vehicle it worked fine, but it would not react as quickly as a regular AT trans. And I would always want a full manual in a real performance car like an Evo anyway.

Please stop with the CVT references. The Evo X WILL NOT have a CVT, it will have the option of an AMT. Look up the acronyms if you don't understand the difference.

You're wrong. E-gear is sequential and made in Italy.

What is S-tronic

I decided to do my research after reading about the Evo X.
Since I recently totally my VIII. I am trying to decide what to do.
Should I go with a 2004-2005 VIII? Or get something in the mean time, until I can hopefully buy my X.

Well seeing that my 2003 VIII was lacking some things, like Limited slip blah blah blah and traction control... I'm assuming the 2008 X will come lacking some things too. I'm used to his kind Sh*t from auto manufacturers, being a past Civic Si (99) owner. Honda is famous for doing little subtle upgrades after one or two years to its models.

Anyways down to the point.

I did my research on the audi site, since it seems the X's drivetrain is based on the dual wet-clutch design that Audi has.
Enjoy the reading.

So I'm thinking I'm going for a user MINI Cooper S as my interim car. I know it handles a lot like an Evo from experience (my roommate had one) - so its a lot of fun.

Anyways... I know the critic patrol is close on my *** now.

Bless

T
