The 2008 Lancers are the best looking Lancers ever. To me it actually looks better than the CT9A Evos.

Excuse me! But if this car wasnt badged with a mitsu symbol you would'nt be lol you would want to know what it was. This site is full of haters mostly haters of what ever car they dont own. I like all the lancers from 02 till 08 NA and EVO. There is no love for mitsu here at all and it makes me SICK.

Well the style is going upscale with the lancers, just like other makes so it has to stay competitive. I think that it was a good move on Mitsubishi to design this car like this, don't get me wrong it doesn't scream or even whisper WRC rally car from the looks of it, however if we don't like, then we don't buy it. Simple as that, I hear that later in the year they are going to release three variants aside from the EVO X. The Ralliart with the 2.4L, the GST with a 2.0L Turbo FWD, and the GSX to compete against the WRX with a 2.0L Turbo AWD.

But even then the car is most definitely a little softer in the lines, however the new WRX strikes me even softer and dare I say just pure feminine in design than previous generations. At least the lancer looks pissed off in the grill. BTW show time I like that you painted the front part of the grill, looks nice, you should powder coat your stock 18's flat black

This board is full of haters, people instead of being open minded, only vote for their own cars (and BTW I think that Evo VI looks better than VII/VIII/IX and I would love to get my hands on a VI "Sub Zero" to whop all the VII-IX asses).

As far as Evo X is concerned, its a monumental car for Mitsubishi, up until now Evo has been basically modified for 9 generations, step by step, it was more of an evolution than a revolution and Evo X will be a revolution. All new chassis, new engine (I know 4G63 crowd thinks that 4G63 is god and throwing in a new engine inside Evo X will not make it a true Evolution ). Reality is that the current Evo chassis/architecture along with it's engine are ancient by automotive standards. In order for Mitsubishi to make great cars, they can't just slightly improve from generation to generation, they need a huge leap forward in technology and I believe Evo X will surprise a lot of haters in a very positive way. I smell a 320-340HP stock car that weights at 3350 with DSG, and a better traction/AWD system, stiffer chassis, wider/shorter body, and it all looks like Evo X will be the best stock Evo yet.

And as far as mods go, obviously it will be rather limited at the beginning but given time I think it won't be that bad, besides, I would be perfectly satisfied with a 500WHP Evo as I think anything over that is an overkill, especially for amateur rally use, and I am not into drag racing so 900HP Evos are not of interest to me. I am more interested in its handling and overall body balance/control.

Thanks ! I am debating that very idea or getting some new shoes all around. What I really hope is that I can drop some EVO X parts under the hood in a year or two and get some serious zip! But wright now RRM has parts coming out left and right I really want a piggy back and pulley before rims. The EVO X is going to be sweet I cant wait to see one in person.

The EVO X is gonna kill the the VIIIs and IXs, it has a much stiffer frame and the engine will be more powerful. Plus it looks HOT.

First time I have seen the EVO in this color.

It's a crappy photo but it looked sweet from what I could make out.

I think the previous Evo's look more aggressive and the X has more of a more mature luxury look to it.

Thats half the fun in driving.
your an asshat, the new evo does have a clutch, in fact is has 2x more clutches than a standard wackass manual
