evo x or evo 8/9 with the same horse power. the evo x will take it on top end. the evo x has longer gears. I would know cause I had them both. the evo x lasted me 1 year before I sold it went back to the evo 8.

Sometimes I wanna sell my evo but I probably wouldn't ever be able to have peace with myself. Evos are already a classic. Just speaking of an evo attracts attention and respect from other car enthusiast. My dad possibly loves my car more than me, and he was the first person against me buying it at first.

Well, i'm starting to see less and less evo 8's and 9's in socal. Many have been parted out, totaled, or turned into strictly track cars. For every CT9A I see, there are 4 evo X's.

Thanks to Mitsubishi's decision to stop production of their flagship car all together, I expect the prices of all evos to rise in the next coming years.

I don't know if it will ever hold value like the Supra's or NSX's , but i'm willing to bet that evos will be very expensive one day. I just don't see why not.

I think the X will do okay, but it doesn't have the history and accomplishments of the 8/9. I see prices going 9>8>10

Agree with this. The 9 is rare, only made for one year. Go try to find a 9rs in the US. The 10 is just a little soft for enthusiast and there are more of the 8s.

The appreciation of these cars has already started. Its normal for a 9 to sell for 25k, its almost a ten year old car and could have been gotten cheaper a few years ago. I could sell my 8 easily for the same I bought it, 5 years later and 30k miles. I'm holding onto my car, prices certainly are not depreciating like normal cars.
