To me, finally seeing what this car would look like for production makes me realize how plain and reused the styling is. It looks outdated already and has a very lack luster character. A lot of these design cues are already in use on other production cars. Mitsubishi is obviously catious about breaking any molds that could hinder sales.

I hate to say it but it has a very close similarity to an srt-4 in the back of of the above pic.

Haha I agree. Very srt-4ish especially with those wheels and dual exhaust.

Wouldnt you be if you had Mitsubishi's past in North America. I agree that risks yeild bigger rewards but if you take subaru as an example they have other models that are successful and can risk ugly "new" designs on their flagship vehicles. I personally like the way it looks, even though i definitly agree that it has been quite deluted when u look at the concept X.

I agree that the styling of the new Evo X are more subdue than the previous generations, but i dont necessarily think that is a bad thing. One of the biggest complaints i hear from owners on this boards is the amount of police attention the car gets. Perhaps this less agressive styling will yield to less unwanted attention while, hopefully, the performance stays the same or is better.

The thing about the Evo is, the front looks aggressive and so does the back, but the from the side view it ALWAYS looks plain jane... I love how the Evo VI side profile looks way better than any 8 or 9 and now the 10..

I think it looks like ***. I care more about performance, however. I'll wait for the reviews from the magazines and myself (ala test drive) before I decide I like the car or not.

Stock vs. Stock not too bad. Kind of makes the evo 9 look like an econ car. i'm starting to like the evo X.

Looking at the post above, the 10 somehow looks better to me. I just don't know how or why. Maybe it's the paint job.

cars look like other cars in bad photos. in person it doesnt look like any other car. closest looking car is a acura tl i think and thats just the side view. maybee a GTO too cause the slope of the car from front to back on the top and bottom is close. but the front and the back are easily noticable as being the new 2008 lancer, exo x from any distance. and it looks very nice. as for less notice from police i think the new exo looks more for racing than the old ones. lower it an inch or 2 and put acutally nice wheels on the car. looks fast.
