well..........i'm not hating on the X. Cause until the #'s come out, i am neutral.

But one thing i can say is....

The 4G63 is more appealing to look at

And the new motor looks like every other plastic covered POS engine i'm used to seeing from Mitsu.........

It doesn't prove anything, the thread/video was never titled "OMG INTERIOR REVING 500HP EVO" lol. I actually enjoyed it, it shows what the Evo X is going to sound like inside and out and it does nice, especially for stock.

Prototype X, not the Evo X. Dont' know why people get them confused so much.

The engine may sound the same, that's good. Though personally, I've never heard a car that sounds the same while revving as it does under load. I don't understand why revving is so popular, and why it's used to sell exhausts. :P

The interior is probably NOT going to look like that.

I'm all for the Evo X, but a little context should be used.

EDIT: Also, look at the under-hood shot. The engine doesn't even move. I think they used solid mounts on the Prototype.

Solid mounts would create a LOT of NVH, so I doubt they're solid.

It does, however, appear that they used a heavy *** flywheel. That thing revs slow as ****.

I meant for the Prototype X (which that was). They may not have had rubber or liquid-filled mounts ready, so the engine might be hard-mounted. I also doubt they'd do that for the Evo.

I did notice the redline was only 7k still, that is too bad. With the shorter stroke it should rev higher without any more load forces. That should be easy enough to fix though
