Good find, I watched the first part of the video as well and from what I can understand is that it will be one lean mean beastie machine

It'd be good if we knew what they were saying.

Nice! Let's see what we can see.

6.5K rpm launch. Looks like he did it as a Neutral Drop.

Damn it looks great on that track.

It does look like I read that Mitsubishi press release about the SST correctly. The Normal, Sport, and Super Sport modes are for the tranny's automatic operation. Those shift modes dont' appear to have any effect on paddle-shifting.

Downshifts are surprisingly responsive. I was worried the SST wouldn't downshift well.

When he's swerving side to side, the S-AWC is just showing one bar which is good.

Also, the Evo X looks really flat and neutral when he's swerving like that. There isn't much body roll at all.

The X is looking like it'll be a real good performer on the track.

Damn, the more I see of this car, the more excited I get about getting one as my "toy" third car. From what I'm seeing, my reluctance about the wife insisting it be a car she can drive (i.e., not a traditional manual transmission) is eroding. I'm digging the SST on the Evo X from what I've read and seen so far.

I thought that those tranny settings were also for the other aspects of the system, such as S-AWC, AYC, etc.

wow... Man the car is looking good

i said it months ago and i will say it again.. it is going to be the best evo yet.

I trust mitsu's engineers over the forum doubters that bashed this evo to hell.

We will see though like i said.. Pretty soon all the haters will be at the dealers thinkin about upgrading.

haha, after reading all these posts and then all of a sudden i thought of the "i got the IX because its the last true evolution" made me laugh. I've been waiting for this car for a long time. granted i considered other cars, (g35, srt-8, srt-10) a whole range of cars (even a used supra) but i told myself that they would all have to hold a candle to this car. As time goes on, and more info is released my choice is extremely clear, i've stopped shopping around and am pretty set on getting the X. After driving in stop and go traffic for 10 months, never again will my daily driver be traditional manual. This car seems like it is going to fit the bill perfectly. perfect blend of style, comfot, features, technologies. etc etc. White, top of the line model, fully loaded with sst, nav, rockford forsgate, and everything else. I cant wait to get some nice advans for it.

Part 2 was added 9 hours ago, according to nagisa2004's YouTube profile. Part 1 was added 3 days ago. As for a part 3, let's hope there is one. All in all, the future of Mitsubishi is looking more and more promising. I still believe these videos are being leaked.

haha, i bet the executive's at mitsu motor corp are freaking out and the ones at subaru are laughing all the way back to the sti drawing board. watch them pull what they did last time when the evo and sti came out.

evo specs- 320 hp 2.0 turbocharged

sti specs- 320.5 2.5 liter turbocharged

and the sti is released 2 months after the evo. hahahaha

We need a translator here. There's a comparison between the IX and X - from the guy that's frequently on Best Motoring.

Mitsubishi should sell this DVD with subtitles... They'd make a killing.

Where'd you get that number? The video showed 206Kw. Which converts to 276HP.
