After all the waiting, all the speculation, all the crap, I thought we'd be in for something much more special. I was expecting a much bigger leap over the IX.

Heavier, fine. Paddle shifters, whatever. Slower 0-60 and 1/4 times, what??

From page 2 of R&T review:

a step slower than the Evo IX partially due to a slower steering ratio.

dont be fooled

dont be fooled, its better to impress with down spec the final product to put the WOW when you drive it than to put high numbers up and then saying eh its ok i quess. This car will be a rocket!. Im still keeping my evo 9 though even if its not as great a car. I love the looks of it and all the mods available for it.

The Evo Ix Has A Faster Slalom Speed Than The X So I Guess The Sslloowweerr Steering Had Something To Do With That Lol

hmm.. with that kind of power out of the box just imagine what some simple mods will do to this thing.
any one know what kind of turbo it has??
just hope the 8/9 dosent get to be considerd like a eclipse or tallon .
but then again i belive that the aluminum block may cause some problems at the higher stages of mods 650+ hp then agin i guse there are alot more relly fast dsm out there. will it recover from over enginering

From what I've read in the past and now is that the JDM version will be the same as the USDM version.. Maybe a few lbs lighter.. Who knows..
