How many EVO IX, X is made, Target

I was wondering how many EVO IX and X was and will be sold. The links I found and as I understand it is:
IX 1500 x 12 = 18,000, and X 4000 x 12 = 48,000

EVO IX LINK: http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2...01/020514.html

EVO X LINK: http://www.autoblog.com/2007/10/01/o...r-evolution-x/

So what do you ALL think, is my calculation correct? Does it mean Mitsu is planning to sell over 2 times more Evo for this year. Would it cause present Evo owners would want to trade in theirs, or would it mean more newer Evo owners? anyone?

more evos made -> more cars at dealer -> lower prices -> more evos on street -> evo X = tampon (every ***** has one) -> color me RED

seriously, people are gonna have to cope with the fact that there will be evos crawling all over the place next year. or you decide, but i'll look at the positive and hope to get a X cheap since the dealer will have 2x as many to sell to make quota or whatever.

i guarantee there won't be crazy markups for too long because mitsu wants the dealers to actually sell this car like a Galant, one on every block

Im not sure how many "pussies" can afford a 35k car plus outragous insurance.

Its those kinda "pussies" that considered cars like Audi or BMW or older crowd will now most likely then not test drive the X because of the toned down look of the X...I can also see more females driving the X due to SST...I already see chicks driving STi's from time to time...haven't seen one drive an eVo yet though...hmm...

it was mentioned in a bunch of other threads that they want to sell 4,000 before the year is out.

i don't think audi or bmw owners are gonna even consider a mitsu. acura or infinity owners? yes. the only audi/bmw owners that will be interested are the young ones that live with mom and dad and use their entire paycheck to pay the lease for a "cool car to get chicks". you know, those kinda people, with the gold chains around their neck, benjamins in their wallet, and $2 in the bank...

the old crowd you speak of are usually financially stable homeowners that can afford bmw, audi, benz, etc. hardly the majority of evo owners.

women generally speaking know nothing about cars and will buy whatever people tell them to buy. talk up any car and they'll buy it. stupid sexual orifices with legs...j/k

^ Women are generally drawn towards luxury sedans like Mercedes/BMW or luxury SUVs like Range Rover. If a woman has 35K to spend on a car, it ain't gonna be on an Evo that's for damn sure.

Evo production volume will never exceed more than a few thousand per year. To put things in perspective Acura TL's sell 100,000 units per year.

LOL @ stupid sexual orfices... yeah time will only tell how many eVo's we'll be seeing on the streets...if what claims is true inregards to their estimated sales then there should be an over abundance of eVos as to now...more or less the X will appeal to more people then the iX did...So I guess not every ******* is gonna have my year eVo...so I won't care too much...
