Whats so cool about the new X is very few CT9A owners have any buyers remorse. Same situation for the Subaru crowd riding the current Rexxies looking at the new STi. How many of you evo owners out there actually stare at your interior while your driving feeling guilty about the plastic texture and cup holder angle wishing you had fake aluminum rings on your AC vents? No matter how they tart up the interior it still will be a Lancer, no nicer than a current year Civic on the inside.

Its a Rally Gr.N car most likely, they are getting a jump start in testin the X for rally.
Its funny how you can't please everyone. Its a gravel setup, you guys would like it more if it had the Tarmac setup, big wheels, big brakes, and lowered.
I personally like the rally look.

An article regarding this car, I don't think it has been posted yet
I'm excited to see what this car will do. I only wish Mitsubishi to step back into the WRC

If you need explainations as to what the small rims, thin tire width, roof scoop, mud flaps and so on are for then I suggest you bone up on the motorsports heritage of the car. Stuff on Rally cars is functional, pretty or not.
A roof scoop on a ricer car may be to make it look nice, when you are wearing fire proof racing suits and a helmet in a vehicle that is more or less sealed up for safety competing in 100 degree temps ( say Cyprus, turkey, greece, Kenya) that roof scoop will keep you from dying of heat stroke!

theres never a shortage of morons, with the X we will see even more of this a public that is completly unaware of the evolutions rally heritage the invoative technologies and how they evolved it saddens me even now when people dont realise these things and complain about hte 0-60 the evo was always supposed to be a decently fast car meant to handle well and be rugged if prepped for off road it was never a top speed monstor etc. true in its different forms it has served many purposes but we will probably see more aggresive tunes for the X later on as well.
