I called multiple dealerships today and was told gsr 08's are stopped shipping and 09's will arrive in spring that's like 4 months so you can grab whatever is left on the lots or wait until spring for the new models. I decided to wait.

 

Im really mad, 4 months??? i did the same thing i also called dealers in the US and Canada, on average i got the same answer april or march i guess im renting for the next couple of months. Its really not fair because other countries including Saudi Arabia already have 09 evo x´s on their dealerships.

 

What is different on the '09? So far I've only heard the tail lights and steering wheel controls.

Certainly not enough to miss out on 0% financing IMO.

 

Im almost certain the interior panels change, you get a fix on all the glitches, and the ralliart taillights, and i have hope that mitsu will get to their senses and offer a gsr with leather seats.

 

Hadn't heard about the interior panels. And, yes, hopefully the glitches will be worked out.

I dont think mitsu has said anything, i know a dealer here in the forums is saying we wont get 2009 evos until august and they will be 2010 models

 

0% Financing dude! I heard the 2009 will have a little more power, but I believe that's only due to them fixing the tune (something you can easily do yourself and will probably do anyways).

Go get the 2008 and don't look back. JMHO.

yeah ,but its from dealer who has dozens of evo's on the lot they could just be saying that to get hesitant buyers to lose hope in waiting and just purchase an 08. If officially says they arent bringing the 09 to the states, Then i would grab the 08.

 

We have heard oficially that we will not be getting the 2009 EVO X here in the states. We are doing our best to get a hold of as many 2008 models to hold us over. PM me with any questions.
